Capri by 19-69 is inspired by the stylish and iconic movie Le Mépris, which was shot in 1963 on the Isle of Capri. The settings include Villa Malaparte and the motion picture incorporates a scheme of red (tolerance, love), blue (coldness) and white (neutral) referring to the national flags of France and USA, evocative of the thematic elements of the narrative.
